Kate a mother of Eight

In Uncategorized on July 2, 2008 at 11:25 pm

Kate from “Jon and Kate plus Eight” is my hero.

For those unfamiliar with the show.  Jon and Kate had twin girls (Cara and Mady).  They decided to try for just one more and got 6! Alexis, Aaden, Collin, Leah, Hannah, and Joel.

I have become utterly addicted to this show and watch in amazement with how well Kate runs the house and takes care of the children.  I swear to do what she does, she must have some kind of super mom powers.  It’s a wonder how she gets out of bed every day.  Granted I am only 21 and very far from having kinds, I can’t even imagine what its like to be her.  I wonder if it’s harder to have 6 kids all the same age or 10 kids at very different ages.  I knew a family that had 11 kids.  The oldest being about 22 and the youngest being a new born.  I am not sure who has the greatest toll on them.  Neither will ever be me…God willing my first pregnancy isn’t sextuplets.

my respect goes out to you gosselin family!

  1. hey john and kate im a fan of your show and im only 12 but you guys are really cool and like rock stars but that may not seem to you lol i just wanted to talk and see what you are like if you dont reply i totally understand bussy and this is the first time iv talked to a adult from a tv show but i really love the show

  2. Please come and lend your support in the fight to stop exploitation of children.

Kids are NOT chattel of their parents. They deserve to have protection at all times, and there is no legal protection for the Gosselin children.

At the very least, laws need to be enacted wherein all children who are not of the age of reason or consent that are the subject of television “Reality shows” are protected emotionally and financially from a party that is outside of any and all financial interests of that child/ren

  3. I agree. These kids as cute as they seem to be need to be protected. They should not have camera following them around the house and everywhere they go. I’m sure that the parents are enjoying it since they are making a living off of it. These kids are not going to know what a normal life is and that’s pretty sad. The show needs to come off of the air at once.
